Can’t Miss Tilapia

Technically, the recipe is called “Can’t Miss Red Snapper” {a Paula Deen original}, but I love tilapia, and that’s all we had available ;)  I used to make this ALL the time before Landon was born because it was so quick & easy…and SO flavorful!!  I don’t know why we don’t have this more often because Tuesday night’s serving of this yummy dish was SO good!!  Here’s another yum recipe to add to the staples :)

CAN’T MISS TILAPIA

4 tilapia filets

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1 cup chopped onions

1 green {or red} bell pepper, chopped

1/2 cup {1 stick} butter, melted

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 350.  Season the fish with salt & pepper {both sides}.  Spread the onions & pepper in a 13x9 baking dish and place the fish on top.

Bake for 12 minutes {or until cooked through}.  Remove from oven & sprinkle the fish with the parmesan cheese.

Place under the broiler for about 2 minutes or until cheese browns.  Remove from dish and serve peppers & onions on top of fish.We usually serve this on top of rice with a little side of veggies :)  If you love fish, this is a MUST try!!

  1. I made this for my husband yesterday. I appreciated it because it was a quick meal. He is really picky and he loved it. He said it was one of the best fish recipes he's had. Thanks!
