You are like me, the holidays ARE a BIG DEAL! I put up Christmas the day after Thanksgiving, making it a holiday in itself. We call it "Tree Day". It started when my daughter went off to college and was home for Thanksgiving. She wanted to be a part of putting up the tree so we started putting it up the Friday after Turkey day. While everyone else is out shopping we are home singing Christmas Carroll's and decorating the house. As my daughter says, Shopping on Black Friday is for amateurs. She is done shopping by then.
