What the Teacher Wore Wednesday

I'm linking up with The Pleated Poppy to bring you a random mix of things I've been wearing the last week(ish).

I headed to visit my cousin who was visiting from Lubbock and needed something forgiving to wear that day.  Grandma was making her famous pasta & zucca and I knew I'd have my fair share of helpings, so a romper with elastic at the waist was just what the doctor ordered.  Ha.  I paired it with these darling shoes I found at DSW on clearance for a whopping $25!  LOVE!  And y'all...I love investing in good jewelry, but I also love my cheapies.  My necklace is a Forever 21 favorite and I found that bracelet at Target for $6!!!  Can't beat it ;)

Romper:  Old Navy
Necklace:  Forever 21
Bracelets:  Target;  Stella & Dot Renegade Cluster Bracelet; and a few bracelets that were gifted

I know today is the first day of Fall and all, but the weather is far from crisp and cool.  No reason to go wearing long sleeve shirts as if that'll will on the cooler weather, but I sure did throw one on for brunch the other day.  I met one of my girlfriends at Bonefish for some Bang Bang Shrimp and Sunday afternoon wine because, wine not ;)  Does it make more sense that I wore it with shorts?!  Not at all.  But I sure was comfy and kept warm inside that little icebox of a restaurant ;)  My upper half kept warm anyway.  In all seriousness, I sized up in this top (wearing medium in this pic)because Target tops have a tendency to fit a little more snugly than I'd like and I like my button-downs to fit loose.  I'm a little obsessed with green right now.

Top:  Target
Shorts:  American Eagle, a couple of years ago
Bracelet:  Target

My darling little cousin had a birthday party the other day and I threw this on for the occasion. I absolutely love this top...it's really long in the back and it's flowy & forgiving.  I will definitely be wearing this with chunky sweaters as the weather gets cooler...if that ever happens.

Top:  Marshall's
Necklaces:  Linear Bar Drop Necklace;  Kendra Scott Elisa Drop

I headed to church in this little dress I snagged at Old Navy for $15!!  Gotta love it.  It fits really drapey and I'm a fan of that style because I don't always like fabric hugging me where it shouldn't.  Plus, it was a one and done kind of outfit.  Aren't those the best?!

Dress:  Old Navy (Women's Cocoon Crepe Dress...looks like they're out of stock)
Bracelet:  Target
