I’ve always had a thing for Oreo’s. Definitely my guiltiest pleasure. I’m pretty sure there’s nothing better than a package of Oreo’s and a nice cold glass of milk….and then drinking said milk when it’s all nice and full of Oreo crumbs. YUM. So, it only stands to reason that I about FELL.OUT. when I saw this recipe for Oreo Brownies on Pinterest. HELLO. Combining Oreo’s, brownies, ice cream, and fudge?!?! GET.OUT. I know it sounds like diabetic shock just waiting to happen, but ohmiword…seriously to die for!! Thank you, Kevin & Amanda, for making an already amazing dessert even better.
COOKIE’S N’ CREAM OREO FUDGE BROWNIES
1 box brownie mix {I used Ghirardelli Double Chocolate}
eggs & oil {as directed on brownie box}
1 half cup of Cookies & Cream ice cream
1/4 cup hot fudge ice cream topping, room temperature
Preheat oven as directed by brownie package and grease up an 8x8 or 9x13 pan. All we had on hand was a 9x13, but the original recipe was shown with an 8x8. Take your pick. Mix brownie mix according to package directions, but DO NOT add the water!! Instead, add the ice cream and hot fudge. Mix well!!!
Layer the bottom of your baking dish with Oreo’s. Since I was using a 9x13, I had to break some in half to fit on the sides of the pan. If you’re using an 8x8, the Oreo’s will fit like a glove :)
Now you’ll want to layer half of the brownie mix on top of the Oreo’s. Not gonna lie…this was a little challenging. It was a little hard to spread because the dang Oreo’s would start moving all over the place and the batter was pretty stinkin’ thick. Maybe using an 8x8 would’ve been easier??!! Not sure! But I promise you, the juice is worth the squeeze!
Add another layer of Oreo’s and then top that off with the remaining brownie mix.
Now bake according to package directions…about 40-45 minutes. Remove & let cool.
Can you smell the sinfulness?!?
Y’all. These were flippin’ scrum!!! I made these when we were up north visiting the fam and they were gone in NO time! I think they’d be amazing served warm with a heaping bowl of cookies & cream, or vanilla {whatever tickles your fancy}, but that’s just me ;)
Get on this ASAP, but don’t expect there to be anything left by the time it’s all said and done. Sneak yourself a taste…or two…before sharing with anyone else :)
Oh.My.Goodnes. These sound HEAVENLY!! I think I'm going to head out for the ingredients right now!! Thanks for sharing :)

ReplyDelete:( Was so hoping this would of turned out great but it didn't. I ended up having to cook them for an hour and they were burnt on the top and runny and gooey inside still. I followed the recipe exactly and not sure what happened. So glad I didn't make these for a function because that would of been embarrassing. The oreos were crunchy still too which I guess is normal? They looked SO good on the picture but no such luck. :(
ReplyDelete@Sing Family/Anonymous...I emailed you, but not sure you got it! Sorry your brownies didn't turn out so well :( I made mine just like the recipe I linked to. I guess I just got lucky!!
ReplyDeleteI made these this weekend and they were awesome!! I crumbled the Oreos on bottom and top, rather than layering and it was awesome! Thanks for sharing!!
