What The Teacher Wore Wednesday

Linking up with The Pleated Poppy today for a little look at what I wore last week.

I love kimonos and this one is one of my favorites.  I love how they dress up the simplest of outfits.  I love to wear mine with tees, too.  You can never have too many...or can you?!

Top:  Old Navy, about 4-5 years ago
Kimono: Midnight Bloom Kimono, LaRue Chic Boutique (sold out), but it looks like Hazel & Olive have the same one available in all sizes
Sandals:  Steve Madden Comma Sandals, Black
Necklace: Francesca's (May, sold out)

Headed out for dinner and pulled out the trusty bootcuts with a trapeze top.  I've had these jeans for several years and love them to pieces.  They're pretty long, but I always wear them with wedges or boots.  They don't fit quite as well as they used to, but that's because I love carbs something fierce.  Speaking of love, this top has my heart.  I love the fit and for $17 you can't go wrong!

Necklace:  Sam Moon, 4-5 months ago
Bracelets: gifts

I seem to wear this dress a ton.  It's just so easy to throw on just go.  I love the fit and the pattern, too.  Since it's a busier pattern, I don't usually wear much jewelry with it.  And since summer is still going strong, this little number will get lots more wear until it's time to pull out the pikos and leggings :)

Dress:  Dottie Couture Boutique, in May (no longer in stock)
Bracelet:  Wal Mart for the win, last year ;)

  1. All great choices as usual! I am loving the trapeze top with bootcuts though! It has been a hot minute since I wore a bootcut jean but I may need to rethink that.

  2. Super cute choices! I see kimonos all the time that I LOVE on other people but have just not been able to pull the trigger on one myself. Love your blog design...very cheerful.

  3. Carb lovers unite! Being skinny is overrated. You're adorable. I love your style, decor, and recipes :)
