Meal Planning Monday

I spent the day yesterday cheering on the Texans and hosting a little football/birthday party.  It was my dad’s birthday last week so we had a little celebration for him yesterday…and I made the most DECADENT chocolate cake…from scratch!!!!  I can’t wait to share it with you!  It was a LONG day yesterday and I’m about to pass out as I type, so I’ll be back tomorrow with more yumminess to share.  In the meantime, here’s a peek at my week {in the kitchen, of course ;)}

Monday:  Southwestern Chicken Chopped Salad {one of our FAVORITES!!!!}

Tuesday: Leftovers {Mr. Spouse is working late!}

Wednesday:  Feta & Shrimp with Rice  {Unbelievably EASY…and delish!!!  **Perfect** for you low carb/no carb fans!!!}

Thursday:  Oven Tacos {can’t wait to try!}

Friday:  Leftovers

Saturday & Sunday:  Lots and lots of take-out!  And a few random desserts thrown in the mix.

Not much of a meal plan is it?!  But it’s what’s on tap for the week!

OH…I almost forgot to mention!!!!  I got a sweet email from a reader the other day who asked if I was aware that I had comments I needed to **tend** to.  Apparently I didn’t have my email notifications turned on!  If you’ve commented in the last year{ish} or so, I apologize if I haven’t responded to any questions/suggestions!  I don’t get on the blog very often…I post straight from Windows Live Writer…so I didn’t realize I had comments waiting :)
