I might try playing with some of the spices to add more flavor. Like you, I follow a recipe to the letter, so next time, I'll get adventurous. It made a lot, which means I have leftovers! Thank you for this!!Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16800359476364280752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8623073248513759374.post-27785578095143289092014-01-15T08:50:58.231-08:002014-01-15T08:50:58.231-08:00Cara, I first have to say, I am so glad you are ba...Cara, I first have to say, I am so glad you are back to blogging! And second is that I made this soup last night and it was fab-u-lous! OMG! So good! I have learned the hard way in the past about adding noodles to a soup and the liquid getting soaked up. So I cooked my Ditalini ahead of time and added it at the end. I also completely spaced out and dumped the whole 28 oz. can of tomatoes in the soup and to be honest I think it made it better. I used the crushed tomatoes with basil and it was delish! I just finished a bowl for lunch and you are right, it was like a pasta dish, but, oh, so good!! Thank you!Lenae B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/11390951579180776427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8623073248513759374.post-89333608134132051092014-01-09T22:46:40.487-08:002014-01-09T22:46:40.487-08:00YUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMM I'm in... or my hubby is in....YUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMM I'm in... or my hubby is in. My original plan was to make it on the stovetop too, but I had a request for a slow cooker soup :) But so glad to hear it works out on the stovetop just as well.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13795920193886653278noreply@blogger.com
